Bantwal: Minister Khader occupies tahsildar's seat - takes official to task

Daijiworld Media Network - Bantwal (SP)

Bantwal, Mar 2: Minister for food and civil supplies, U T Khader, was in an angry mood on Thursday March 1 at the failure of the revenue department to issue title deeds relating to house sites under section 94c of Karnataka Land Revenue Act to beneficiaries falling under his constituency.

Khader, who was livid, arrived at the office of the tahsildar, Purandar Hegde, on the evening of Thursday March 1 and took Hegde to task. His ire was against the revenue officials in general and the tahsildar in particular for their failure to distribute title deeds to beneficiaries under his constituency during a programme held on Thursday for the purpose of distributing title deeds.

The tahsildar explained to the minister that 12 of the beneficiaries had not deposited the prescribed amount into the treasury as per the government rules and therefore title deeds could not be issued. The minister and his supporters however, were in no mood to give a patient hearing to this explanation or to verify the facts.

We need Mr.Khader and Mr.Lobo to lead Mangalore in the coming Lok Sabha elections not the one who wanted to burn his own constituency and only seen giving press conferences.
Now at least I hope intelligent district of the smart people will retrospect and choose the right people's representative which bring back the old legacy of good days to the city once again.

Congress party is striving hard for its existence. I remember Charles Darwin's struggle for the existence theory. I must congratulate Khadhar bhai for his best response and concerns towards needy people. My best wishes.
