Kasargod, Mar 5: The body of a student, who had gone missing under mysterious circumstances four days ago was found lying in a drain by the side of the over-bridge at Uduma Kalnad.
The student in question has been identified as Jasheer (15), son of Jaffer from Mangad.
Jasheer was a tenth standard student of Chattanchal school. He had not been seen since the evening of Thursday. Family members, close ones and citizens had been searching for the missing student since the last four days.
Jasheer had left home on Thursday evening for buying new clothes which he wanted to wear for the farewell function organized at his school. He was not seen thereafter.
The body of the minor student was found in decomposed state on Monday March 5 morning. The police are investigating the reasons for the death and also as to whether it is a case of murder or death due to some other reason.
