Udupi, Mar 12: "All the leaders and workers of Congress party will put in united efforts to wrest Karkala assembly seat this time," announced Harsha Moily, who is an aspirant to Congress ticket from Karkala constituency.

Speaking to media persons here on Sunday March 11, Moily noted that several people have evinced interest to fight the election from Karkala on behalf of Congress party. "The desire of every one of us is to make sure that Congress party will field a capable candidate who can ensure victory for the party in Karkala. If the party provides me an opportunity, I am prepared to fight the election from there. I will be bound by the decision the party might take on this issue," he clarified.

Harsha Moily said that the achievements of Siddaramaiah-led government during the last five years will prove to be a positive factor for people contesting the election on behalf of the Congress. "I have no doubt that any candidate who fights from Karkala on behalf of the Congress will come out successful. Our aim will be to make sure that Congress candidate emerges victorious there with a huge margin," he added.
