Mangaluru: Will RSS backing help BJP in DK, Udupi this time?

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Mar 12: The Sangh Parivar, which had mostly remained neutral during the previous assembly election in 2013, has geared up to support BJP this time around. BJP too is heavily relying on the leadership of Rashtriya Swyamsevak Sangh (RSS) this time, and RSS leaders are involved with election preparations, holding of meetings, drawing of strategy etc.

BJP is determined to bag most of the assembly seats in the twin districts. Party leadership is facing problem in finalizing candidates in constituencies other than Sullia, Karkala, Kundapur and Bantwal, as there are multiple aspirants in each of the constituencies. Lists of aspirants have been sent to the state BJP committee, and the BJP high command will finalize the candidates in consultation with RSS leaders, it is said.

RSS strongman Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat

RSS functionaries have been given the responsibilities of working as organizing secretaries at all levels including the BJP central committee.

RSS, which does not give publicity to its meetings, has already held coordination meetings in 13 constituencies of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts. Leaders of Hindu outfits like Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, and Hindu Jagran Vedike participated in them. Each of the constituencies has been entrusted to a team of about 60 young volunteers. These teams will be given training before the election.

The workers have been told to concentrate on booths as per the wishes of BJP national president, Amit Shah. The activists have been told that they should visit voters and request them to vote for the lotus symbol, irrespective of who is chosen as candidate for constituencies the party.

Sir, This 'Panama paper' and 'Paradise paper' has more than 1000 rich Indian names sitting in PM Modi's office thrown under the carpet.
If this papers are properly investigated even PM Modi fate will be like Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharieff.
Please refresh your memory in 2014 Lok Sabha election PM Modi has promised the nation 'corruption free India' and bringing 'Black money' if elected to power.
Not even single person was arrested. Not even single paise recovered.
PM Modi is scared of 'Panama paper'. So he is acting like 'Maun Modi'.

No use blaming RSS. When you have an inefficient leader like Siddu, these things are bound to happen. Rai was supposed to arrest Bhat 4 years back. To this day it has not happened. Pub attackers are acquited despite Cong ruling. So just go with the flow and enjoy. A firebrand leader like Mr.Owaisi should rule Ktaka . We have to give him a chance.

Why divisive idealogy to break India just for 5 year power?? Why defaming Hindu religion for taking power in hand?? People must understand, how can there be threat to Hindu religion in India, which is the most ancient and tolerant?? "Humanity is the best religion to mankind".. Lets advertise Hinduism by the weapon of Humanity and change the world..
Must learn from the Maharashtra Farmers, who despite in such a large number, maintained law and order intact but uphold their core issues and they won without a single destruction.. An eye opener to all of us...

BJP. Is most tolerant party in the world. If they are like Taliban, democracy and dynasty rule would not have flourished for so many years. It is well known fact that RSS is the backbone of BJP and it has some moral values which supports its principals of building secular country. They have full rights to build Hindu country while neighboring countries can be built on religion. When majority Hindus asks for a Hindu country then the minorities shout at the top of their voice saying they are hurting secular fabrics of the country.

Will RSS backing help BJP in DK and Udupi win this time or not but the statement made by BJP party president Amit Shah in Nagpur need to be taken very seriously.
A day after the BJP's successful showing in the Assembly polls in three northeastern states, party president Amit Shah visited the RSS headquarters in Nagpur and held a meeting with Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat and other senior leaders.
The topic of discussion during the four-hour-long meeting are not known as the BJP president did not field questions from the media once he came out of the RSS headquarters. He reached the venue at 2:55 pm and left around 6:40pm.

Shah also met senior RSS functionary Bhaiyaji Joshi. Earlier in the day, the BJP president met Union minister Nitin Gadkari at his residence here.

Answering a query outside the Ravi Bhavan, a complex of government guest houses here, on the forthcoming Karnataka polls, Shah said, "You write it down. BJP will win in Karnataka."

The dates for Karnataka assembly elections are not yet announced by Election Commison of India. How does Amit Shah predicts the victory in Karnataka before the official results are announced?

In Tripura more than 50% the constituencies were elections held in the recently held assembly EVM malfunctioned. None of the assembly VVPAT counting is compared with the EVM. But percentage of votes got by CPI(M) and BJP is equal. But BJP registered massive victory. In Gujarat wherever BJP won with narrow margin maximum votes in NOTA.
Unless and until 'Salami fraud' in EVM is not done Amit Shah's projection for Karnataka won't be surprise. This is something state Congress need to challenge 'Election Commision of India' in Supreme Court of India.

There was a Sunday lawyer in Karkala from 1969-1972, who was using a bicycle purchased on installments...which he was using for going to Karkala Court in that bicycle...

Now his son is having tens of thousands of Croes deposited in Panama bank accounts, like Pakistan's ex Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief...

Also this son planing to contest Karkala assembly constituency as CONgress candidate...thinking can spend Rs 5000 per vote and win....I am happy people of Belman along with others in Taluk could make some money out of this...

Does your conscience pricks reading this Sir???...I hope you don't ask me name of that person...I am sure you know who is that...Guy was your MLA from 1972-1994...With love and respect we call that person Vidhwaan...

Best and appropriate comment from Ronald D, Udupi so far....I agree 100%...if( I doubt it) BJP looses Karnataka assembly elections, only 2 people are responsible for it, Yeddy and his buddy Eshwarappa....

In last assembly elections BJP got 20% votes,,,,Yeddy with his KJP got 10% votes...so BJP central leadership is afraid to touch him....BJP needs at least 40% votes to win Karnataka, lets see from where they get them.....

If BJP wins in coastal Karnataka...they should thank Rai and Khadar and DKS-George-MC Mahadevappa-RV Deshpande and suitcase gang in State level...

I hope and pray to Almighty God, Deve Gowda with his 30 MLA'a will not decide who will be the CM...in that case HDK will demand a weak CM like Dharam Sing/Vidhwaan Moily...
