Kuwait, Mar 20: An English translation of well-known artist D K Chowta’s Tulu novel ‘Mittabail Yamunakka’ by two retired professors of Mangalore University Dr B Surendra Rao and Prof K Chinnappa Gowda was released here in Kuwait on March 17.
The programme was organized by Tulu Koota Kuwait at Mishref Garden in association with Bunts Sangha Kuwait, GSB Sabha Kuwait, Kuwait Sahitya Sampada and Bharatiya Pravasi Parishad.
Akrithi Ashaya Publications thanked Tulu Koota president Wilson D’souza, Kuwait GSB Sabha’s Manjeshwar Mohandas Kamath for successfully organizing the event.
More than 400 Indians residing in Kuwait took part in the programme organized on the occasion of Tulu Koota Pravasi Day (Non-Resident Indian Day).
