Kuwait: It’s Curtains Down on ‘Summer Camp -2008’

Kuwait, Aug 23:  To fulfill the needs of Children in Kuwait during their summer vacation, Holy Family Cathedral Kuwait had arranged a free summer camp during last two months every Friday under the guidance of Fr Melvyn D’Cunha.  The admission was open for the kids of all age groups.  The grand finale of the camp was arranged on Friday August 23 2008 at Sacred Heart hall.  The theme of the day was ‘JOY’.

The program started at 6.40 pm with a prayer followed by a welcome dance.  Bishop Camillo Balline and Fr Melvyn D’Cunha delivered the message of the day.









































The full entertaining programme was included different types of dances such as twist, Arabic dance, pizza hut, and western/fusion.  Different themes like saving from temptation, Good Samaritan, The richest man in the Kingdom, once upon a time in India, could you be loved, etc were enacted both as skits and dances. Choral singing and percussion band was added attraction of the day.

The programme was attended by houseful crowd.  The programme came to an end with vote of thanks and final performance from the Teen spirits.
