Jebel Ali, Aug 24: As announced on daijiworld.com earlier, Jebel Ali Assisi Konkani Community will be presenting 'Konkan Dabazo', an evening of Konkani songs and dance at St Clare and Assisi Halls, Jebel Ali Parish, UAE, at 6.30 pm on September 18, 2008.
As special attraction of the evening will be a fashion show for all girls over the age of 15 to exhibit their costumes and skills.
Registration is now open to all UAE participants with following terms:

- The participant must be of Konkan origin
- Only ladies above 15 years of age, who are residents of the UAE are eligible for the contest.
- Online registration through Daijiworld.com On site registration NOT allowed.
- Decency must be maintained in dressing, objectionable exposure will not be allowed.
- Preferably Indian ethnic/traditional dress, but not a must.
- Contestants below 21 years need consent from their guardian.
- All the contestants should provide passport copy and must carry the same at the time of contest.
- The information provided on the registration form must be accurate; any discrepancy will disqualify the contestant.
- Contestants must report to the venue by 6 pm on September 18,2008. Late arrival will automatically disqualify the contestant.
- Once the registration form is received through Daijiworld.com, JAKC official (s) will contact the contestants for briefing of other requirements.
- Last date for registration is September 10, 2008.
