Udupi: Konkani cine actress Ranjitha Lewis injured in accident at Sastan

Udupi, Mar 27: Konkani cine actress Ranjitha Lewis met with an accident at Mabukala, Sastan here on Tuesday, March 27.

The accident took place when a motorcycle collided with Ranjitha's scooter.

The actress is said to have suffered head injuries and is admitted to ICU at KMC Manipal.

 


Ranjitha hails from Sastan, and is the daughter of Ronald and Flavia Lewis. She made her debut with Konkani film ‘Noshibacho Khell’. She will also be seen in a cameo appearance in Tulu film ‘Appe Teacher’ and a prominent role in Konkani film ‘Zanvoy No 1’.

    Head Injuries.....Was she wearing a helmet? Most people choose to ignore helmets and end up with head injuries. Really feel bad when I hear about such accidents.
