Oman, Mar 27: Muscat Social Forum has succeeded in sending back to India a bedridden person hailing from Karnataka who was stranded in Muscat for want of travel documents.

Haleangady Chelar resident Mohammed Kabeer was in difficulty in Muscat. For the last ten days after surgery and medical treatment he was on recovery. The legal hurdles for his travel to his hometown were cleared and was he seen off at Muscat airport on March 27, said Social Forum's Abdul Hameed. All the details of the incident were explained to his home members and arrangements were made to take him to the hospital on arrival of the flight at Mangaluru.

Fifty year old Kabeer had gone to Dubai for employment in 2013. He worked there for five years, but lost documents pertaining to his job during this period and could not return.
