Dubai, Mar 28: Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) on the occasion of their fifth anniversary on March 30 has scheduled Kannadigara Karnataka Family Fest - 18 at Ajman Gulf Medical University, Thumbe grounds. Several cultural programmes and sports competitions will be held from 8 am to 10 pm.
Khirat, Burda, spiritual speeches and competitions, sports, history excursion, health training, songs, drawing, essay, Chinnara Loka and other cultural programmes will be held.
Veteran entrepreneur Haji Abdul Razak released the handbill of the programme at a news conference held in this connection. Welcome committee convener Abdul Rahim Kodi said that the programme will commence at 8 am with prayers by Assayyad Hassan Ahdal Tanjal, president of Darul Huda Bellare. KCF UAE committee treasurer Abdul Jaleel Nizami Emmemadu will chair the programme. The celebrations will be held in the presence of well known Karnataka based entrepreneurs and special guests in Dubai.
Harish Sherigar, entrepreneur in Dubai will be the chief guest. BCF Dubai vice president Abdul Latif Mulki, Shaikh Kunal Muneer Dubai, Abdul Hameed Bajpe, chief editor of Gulf Ishara, PMH Abdul Hameed, organizing secretary, KCF international committee, Mohammed Iqbal Siddakatte, Al Rabih group Ajman will be the guests of honour.
Khirat, speeches, singing, essay, quiz and drawing competitions of national level talented contestants selected from different zones in UAE will be conducted. Education related discussion forum, health seminar, spiritual camp, cookery and other competitions will be added attractions. Separate competitions will be held for women and children.
Specially invited popular entrepreneur, social worker, Thumbay group founder Dr Thumbay Moideen Haji will participate in the concluding programme. KCF UAE committee president Abdul Hameed Saadi will preside. Veteran entrepreneur B M Ashraf Moideen will inaugurate the celebrations. Ujire Maljah Company general manager Mehboob Rehman Sakhafi will deliver the keynote address. Abdul Razak Haji, Dubai based entrepreneur, Pravin Kumar Shetty, president Karnataka M R forum, Shaikh Amal Munir Dubai, Haji B K Faizul, B M Shabbar and other veteran entrepreneurs in UAE, religious and social leaders at the meeting requested everyone to participate in the celebrations and to make the programme a success.
