Bengaluru: Congress complains to EC on Amit Shah's poll code 'violation'

Bengaluru, Mar 28 (IANS): Karnataka's ruling Congress on Wednesday complained to the Election Commission against the BJP President Amit Shah's alleged violation of the election code by terming Chief Minister Siddaramaiah "anti-Hindu" on Monday.

"We have brought to the notice of the poll panel and the state's chief electoral officer that Shah had violated the poll code by accusing Siddaramaiah of being Ahindu (anti-Hindu) instead of being pro-Ahinda," party's state unit vice-president V.R. Sudarshan told reporters here.

Ahinda is a Kannada acronym for the socio-political movement Siddaramaiah launched in 2006 the betterment of minorities, backward classes and Dalits, after he quit the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S). Later he joined the Congress.

"Shah had stated at Shivamogga on March 26 that he (Siddaramaiah) should look at how the Karnataka government is dividing Hindus and Lingayats, let alone other religions. In reality, he is not pro-Ahinda but Ahindu," said Sudarshan.

Terming Shah's charge as a violation of the Representation of the People's Act and an offence under the Indian Penal Code, he urged the poll panel to investigate the complaint and take action against the BJP chief.

State CEO Sanjiv Kumar has directed the Shivamogga Deputy Commissioner, who is also the returning officer for the May 12 assembly election to the constituencies in the state's Malnad region's district, to order an inquiry into the complaint and submit a report on the action taken by Thursday.

Shah was on a two-day visit to the region to campaign for the party ahead of the poll.

Its really funny that Amit Shah is talking about divisive politics of others. However, fails to understand his tone is far more crude than anybody. Our Karnataka people knows the game of these short sighted Leaders of disturbed states, who do not like to see Karnataka flourishing in Education, Technology, Banking, Healthcare etc. What better things can come, when nothing happened for the last 4 years for India at the centre, whom we chose with great expectations?

Congress can go anywhere! BJP doesn't care at all!!!

EC has not taken action on BJP IT sells top feku Malaviya for tweeting Karnataka election schedule before EC announce it, they have taken action against a Congressmen instead! What positive outcome Congress expect from EC then?

All major Aagencies, Institutes etc in the country are having Chairman, Governing body heads with BJP (chaddi) mindset. FEKU and DAKU have assembled them to follow their instruction. So, all opposition parties can do only one thing, that is playing the role of "mute spectators"!
This will continue till majority citizens of the country understands FEKU DAKU's game plan!!!

Amit Shah is like a Rhino. He will bulldoze all complaints and will not care fore any complaints against himself or any other BJP people. Because EC chief Ravat himself is in the pockets of Feku & Daku.

Election Commission is a puppet in the hands of Modi-Amit shah. So, EC will not take any action against Criminal Shah.
During Gujarat Election there was a gross violation of Code of Conduct by Modi himself on several occasions, and Congress complained to EC about all these Violations with evidences, but did EC take any action against Modi ?? NO !! .

This Shah, thinks he owns India and acting like a bully. He has been under investigation by Supreme court regarding death of a Judge. He did not attend court when summoned by court in Jay Shah's case. He has now come to Karnataka and spreading is venom in our state. He should be sent to Gurrath where he comes from along with Shoba and Nalini to spread their poison.

Here again EC will say that Amit Shah has already explained this matter to him and case is closed?. Instead EC will file complain against congress. In that case congress should file a case in the court against Amit Shah and EC.
