Bengaluru: Big blow – 6-time Congress MLA Guttedar to join BJP

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru Mar 29: It is a big blow for ruling party Congress in the state. Six-time MLA from Congress Malikkaiah Guttedar on Thursday, March 29, decided to quit the party and join the BJP.

Guttedar represents Afzalpur constituency in Kalaburagi district. It is believed that Guttedar is upset with the party for neglecting him. In spite of being six-time MLA, he was not in the Cabinet.

Guttedar hit out at senior Congress leader and MP Mallikarjun Kharge and his son state minister Priyank Kharge, accusing them of conspiring to finish his political career.

Guttedar, who met BJP State president B S Yeddyurappa at his residence at Dollars' Colony in Bengaluru, said he will soon resign as MLA and formally join the BJP.

Dear Guttedar, you joined BJP because Conress party neglected you? You will get garlands in BJP? Wait until election is over and see for yourself what is next! For the party L.K. ADvani, Vajpayeeji, Yashwant Sinha, Shatrugan Sinha all stalwarts of old school are nobody now. Aap kya cheese ho unke barabar?

Guttedar Jained BJP due to threat of IT raid. However very honest and a real gentleman Cricketer refused to join BJP even though he was offered money in crores by Amit Shah personally and also even though Sachin Tendulkar and Virendra Sewag put pressure on Dravid. Hats off to Rahul Dravid for his brave impartial stand.

BJP's second wave of 'Operation Kamala'. In the last assembly elections this is started after the elections when the BJP is short of majority.
Now in BJP it became trend to woo opposition leaders by threat or money which is dearth of able leaders even 10 crores member and said world's largest members.
Across the country, the BJP has fought elections by giving tickets to rebel Congress leaders rather than its own party cadre.
Finally Amit Shah's idea of a 'Congress-Free India' one where BJP is full of Congress leaders.
One finds it funny. Is the BJP a bank? Like the old currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000, leaders from other political parties come to the BJP and are exchanged for new ones. Earlier, it was commonly believed that there are people from the BJP in the Congress. But for the first time, one can say that there are people from the Congress within the BJP.

Last month there was a news in local news paper of Gulbarga - viz: "Kranthi" that Guttedar has been threatened by Amit Shah that Income Tax and CBI raid will be carried out on Guttedar's Businesses if he did not join BJP. It has paid result now. Feku & Daku did the same thing in Tripura before election and weaned away all 18 sitting MLAs of Cong and gave them BJP tickets and won tripura election through the "personal influence" of these erstwhile Cong MLAs only. Besides BJP also has EVMs at their disposal.
