Mangaluru: Three plotting murder of BJP leader from Kateel arrested

Mangaluru, Mar 30: The anti-rowdy squad on Thursday March 29 arrested three persons who were allegedly plotting to murder a BJP leader from Kateel here.

The arrested have been identified as Pradeep Poojary, a resident of Ulaibettu, Dinesh Belchada of Kanya, Bantwal, and Shivaprasad of Mulky.

They are part of a gang based in Kinnigoli, it is said.

It is learnt that the three had kept weapons in their car near Shibarur in Kinnigoli and were extorting money from people by threatening them. The police raided the spot and arrested the three.

During investigation, it was revealed that the three had drawn up a sketch to murder a BJP leader from Kateel, sources said.

    Be careful! There are many festivals in the month of April. On 14 April we have Dr. Ambedkar's birthday. Then on 18th April we have 3 Jayanthis TOGETHER of Basaveshvara, Shivaji & Parashurama.
    Now Bihar and West Bengal are fully burning since last five days after celebrating Rama Navami on 26 th March. Actually Karnataka Newspapers are not giving coverage to the horrible condition now prevailing in Bihar & West Bengal. Hindutva Brigades have first spread riots in Bihar and truck loads of swords and long knives were bought from Uttar pradesh allegedly sent by Yogi from Gorakhpur. Bihar never had riots of such a magnitude during the rule of Non-BJP governments.
    It is said that these riots are all pre- planned to destabilize the govt of Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal. It may also cast its shadow on Karnataka also as election is on anvil here.
    THEREFORE KANNADIGAS SHOULD BE CAREFUL DURING NEXT 45 DAYS AS NORTH INDIANS WILL COME HERE AND SPREAD VIOLENCE IN KANATAKA TOO DURING FESTIVALs & jAYANTHIS.
