Bengaluru: Want to see BJP’s defeat in Karnataka - JD (U) leader Sharad Yadav

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (DC)

Bengaluru, Mar 31: "The whole country is watching the Karnataka elections. We must make India BJP-free. I have come to Karnataka for this," said Rebel JD (U) leader Sharad Yadav here in Bengaluru on March 30.

Addressing a press meet Sharad Yadav said that the much-awaited Assembly elections are like a semi-final to the next Lok Sabha polls. Though the party's goal is to defeat the BJP at any cost, it is yet to be decided by the JD (U) as to whether to support Congress or JD(S) in the crucial polls, he said.

Yadav added that in his two-day visit, a decision will be taken after meeting party workers.

Along with the Congress and the BJP, the leaders of JD(S) are trying to come back to power. At the national level, several opposition parties have come together to defeat the ruling BJP unitedly.

The much-awaited Karnataka Assembly election dates were announced by Chief Election Commissioner of India Om Prakash Rawat on Tuesday March 27 in New Delhi. The polling for the single-phase election will be held on May 12 and the counting will be on May 15.

This man has came all the way at his own and nobody has asked him to canvass for Congress. He himself is telling not decided yet whether to support Congress or not. In Bihar his party is a darling of BJP. I doubt this man's real intention of fighting BJP in Karnataka.

JDU will only split Congress votes in Karnataka if they contest alone in Karnataka. They should either ally with the Congress or not contest in Karnataka.

BSP, NCP and now Sharad Yadav. This is another huge blow to BJP in Karnataka. If more secular thinkers join together, then it will be very tough for BJP. Having said that, I am sure Amit Shah has some strategies to take Sharad Yadav on.

..some one has to tell this guy, its Congress Govt in karnataka, not BJP..so there is no question of defeating BJP, its whether Congress retains power or not..since state BJP leaders didnt do any oppositions works since 4 years, now everything relies on Shah..by the way dont be hyrpocrite by saying if Congress looses in Gujrat it will be moral win, if BJP looses Karnataka it will be big loss..

WHAT A JOKE ! THE SO CALLED LEADER WHO CANNOT WIN IN HIS STATE ON HIS OWN WANT TO SEE OTHERS DEFEAT SHOWS WHAT SORT OF PERSON HE IS.
NOBODY CAN PREVENT ANY BODY'S WIN IF VOTERS MADE UP THEIR MIND TO ELECT A PARTY LEAD BY CLEAN HEART LIKE MODI.
