BJP MP Prahlad Joshi justifies comparing Hubballi with Pakistan

Daijiworld Media Network - Hubballi (DC)

Hubballi, Apr 2: BJP leader and MP Prahlad Joshi who made a controversial statement by comparing Sadar Sofa in Hubballi as 'Mini Pakistan’ justified it even after a case was registered against him on April 1.

Justifying his statement on Sunday April 1 Joshi said that since he had received several complaints regarding Sadar Sofa area he made such remark. "But I have full faith in the judiciary and I will fight it out," he added.

It may be recalled that delivering a speech in Hubballi, Joshi on Friday had accused that weapons were stored in mosques illegally and compared Sadar Sofa to 'Mini Pakistan'.

Following a complaint filed by Jamat mosque head Mohammed Haneef, a case was registered at Kasabapete police station on April 1. The police registered a case under IPC sections 153a, 298. In the complaint office bearers of the mosque alleged that the statement of the MP would spread hatred and cause communal disharmony in the locality.

Earlier Joshi made headlines after he wrongly translated BJP chief Amit Shah's speech.

This is not the first time BJP leaders have been accused of inciting communal clashes by making provocative statements. In December 2017, an FIR was registered against BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje in Honnavar for allegedly spreading hatred among two communities after mysterious death of a youth named Paresh Mesta.

Let Prahlad Joshi go to Maharashtra. He is a Marathi man. His mother tongue is Marathi. His father migrated to Hubli when he got job in Railways in Hubballi. Similarly Anant kumar who is a Telugu man, and his father had migrated to Hubli from Andhra Pradesh when he got job in Railways in Hubballi.
Fathers' of both Ananth Kumar and Prahlad Joshi came from outside the State and settled in Hubbali after they got jobs in South Central Railway Divisional Office s in Hubballi. So before telling some real Karnataka people to go to Pakistan, these Prahlad Joshi & Anant Kumar should go back to their own States.

The freedom which we attained on 15th August 1947 was result of a long struggle which involved contributions and sacrifices of men and women of all classes and communities of India.
While freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose and Mahatma Gandhi rightly get their share of credit, the contribution made by Ulema (Muslim clerics/scholars) in India’s freedom struggle is largely ignored.
After the revolt of 1857(credited as India’s first war of independence) failed the Ulema who were a leading force of the revolt became the main target of British persecution. A total of 200,000 men and women were martyred at the time. Of these about 51,200 were Ulema. 500 of these Ulema were hanged in Delhi.
Barrister M. K. Gandhi served in a law firm in South Africa owned by a Muslim, who on his own expenses brought Gandhiji to India in 1916. The Mopla movement saw 3000 Muslims being martyred in a single battle!

The BJP MP Prahlad Joshi is the elected member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh political wing BJP. Perhaps Joshi don't remember that the vision of 'Hindu Rashtra' of RSS also includes the Pakistan.

It is so much disgraceful that part which wanted every Indian to should 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' with high tone is comparing sovereign land of Independent India to Pakistan only for the sake politics of votes.

1.Where was Mr. Joshi's patriotism when Ram Sena members are hoisting Pakistani flag in Sindagi, Bijapur on India soil?
    2. Why Joshi and his BJP don't ask for death sentence of its own member in Madhya Pradesh IT cell passing India's defence installations long with 11 other members can be seen with CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan?
    3. Where was Joshi and his BJP , when Hubli Court yard bomb explosion accused Ram Sena founder Pramod Muthalik in late Hemant Karkare report?
4.Did Joshi now Silk Letter Movement,Quit India Movement, Simon Go Back, Khilafat Movement are all coined by Muslims of this nation for Independent struggle?

Instead of talking about Pakistan let BJP MP's answer the following questions

Where are 100 smart cities in 5 years?
What is the status of providing 2 crore jobs per year for our youth?
Why have Fuel and Food prices skyrocketed?
Why has 'Make in India' collapsed?
    Why has 'Skill India' failed?
Why did BJP allow Mallya, Nirav and Lalit Modi to escape?
Why are Farmers still committing suicide due to debts and no support?
Why has ill-planned GST ruined small and medium-sized traders?
    Why was Demonetization a DISASTER?
Why has the Foreign Policy with China, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Pak failed?
Why hasn't black money (Rs.15 lakhs per person) been brought back to India?
Why have right-wing hooligans taken over law & order?

Looks like since 2014, Pakistan becomes very close ally of some of so call nationalist politicians. Everytime , they used to these words "mini pakistan", "go to pakistan" blah blah blah. At the end everyone knows who went to pakistan without official invitation to attend pakistan PM's birthday party and enjoyed there a beef biriyani. This is called real "nationalism"!!!. I have no idea where we heading and let's pray to god that our lovely country not to become another "Somalia or Syria".

It is true that some pockets in Hubli and elsewhere in India are radicalised and extremely proud of it.
    But having said that ,
for a politician to go open and taunting these section is nothing short of calling for a riot..
maturity and social reforms are what is needed to bring these sections to the mainstream social structure..

Is it Ivor? India did not become Pakistan in the last 70 years and you are afraid it will become now? That means our country is in the wrong hands. You are actually right. Had India been in the hands of RSS and BJP, post Independence, we would have already turned into a Pakistan. But thankfully due to the vision and efforts of those who have governed us for 70 years, we are still India. Pakistan is very much what RSS wants India to be. One nation, one religion, one culture, one language. Yet see how they have disintegrated while their neighbours with umpteen cultures, languages, religions, traditions etc have still remained one and have grown into a strong ONE. India's strength is its diversity and India will survive till this diversity is respected and nurtured. The day, India's diversity is questioned and someone or some party wants India to convert into 'One Nation, One Law, One Religion, One Culture', India will disintegrate and tear in pieces.

By the way where are the 'deshbhakts' who pounced on actress Ramya on her remarks regarding 'Pakistan' and Mangalore? Where are they hiding now when Prahlad Joshi has shot his feet with the bullet of 'deshbhakti'?
