Udupi: Pramod Madhwaraj seeks additional security citing threats ahead of polls

Udupi, Apr 4: District in-charge minister Pramod Madhwaraj has sought additional security from the Home Department citing threats ahead of Karnataka assembly elections.

The minister said that he wrote to Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy to provide additional security to avoid any threats ahead of assembly polls.

But the home department is yet to reply in this regard.

 

“The matter regarding providing security is left to the state government,” Madhwaraj said.

Karnataka assembly elections will be held on May 12 and the results will be announced on May 15.

    We all know he is one among the top 10 richest MLA's in India, why he needs additional security forces from our tax payer's money? If he wants security, let him arrange it from his own money. Congress and Promod might have spent lakhs and crores of monies for advertisments in media, which could have been used for the betterment of Udupi roads and infrastructures.

    It's high time guys, lets vote of BJP .

    First it is Enforcement Directorate raids on his mills. Now life threat to force him to join BJP.

    Since 2014 PM Modi's center government came to power two Chief Minister namely Kalikho Pul from Arunachal Pradesh and CM Jayalalitha from Tamil Nadu were mysterious died.

    Though BJP came to power in Arunachal Pradesh without democratically elected process, Tamil Nadu BJP is waiting for 'operation Kamala' of AIADMK which has already in three factions.

    Pramod Madhwaraj telephones are already tapped. His money is seized with documents for threat.
    Now he himself in life threat.

    Form Chief Minister to Judges to peoples representatives are under life threat what is the future of common citizens of India under BJP ruling?
    It should be noted that Bhatkal independent MLA was very recently tried assassinated with crude bomb which explodes prematurely in accused hands. I request law enforcement to provide extra security for the Minister.
