Bengaluru: Four senior leaders join BJP amid turmoil, several unhappy

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Apr 5: Independent MLA, Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, and former JD(S) legislator, Mallikarjun Khuba, former union minister, Basavaraja Patil Anwari, and former minister, Nagappa Saloni, crossed over to BJP on Wednesday April 4. However, this defection has caused heartburn in the party as dissent against admission of Yatnal and Khuba in particular into BJP has been brewing and gaining alarming proportions.

Supporters of former minister, Appu Pattanashetti, who is an aspirant for BJP ticket from Vijayapura this time, have been holding strong protest against Yatnal's admission into the party. One of the supporters of Pattanashetti even consumed poison and fell ill. In additon, BJP city corporators at Vijayapura gave went to their anger by locking the door of the party in the city.

At the same time, there is resentment against admitting former Basavakalyana MLA, Mallikarjun Khuba, into BJP. Local leaders held protest in front of the BJP office at Basavakalyana on Wednesday, urging the leadership not to allow Khuba to join BJP at any cost. The protesters said that they have been fighting against Khuba since the last two decades and that they can not suddenly change their stance and support him. They also said that even if the leader is given entry into the party, he should not be given ticket to fight the coming election.

Protests and frictions have also been noticed in Vijayapura district against A S Patil Nadahalli who was allowed to cross over to BJP recently, and at Kalaburagi against Malikayya Guttedar. Several ticket aspirants from the party have also warned of deserting the party. A number of of them are cozying up to JD(S), thus making BJP leaders jittery.

In spite of widespread opposition within the party against the above four leaders, state BJP president, B S Yeddyurappa, welcomed them into the party at the state office of the party here by handing them party flags on Wednesday, in the presence of former minister, V Somanna, MLAs, Sanganna Karadi, Manappa Vajjal, and other leaders. Yeddyurappa said that Malikayya Guttedar, who has left Congress, will join BJP along with some more Congress MLAs on April 8 or 9. He said that some MLAs of JD(S) are in contact with him, and felt that addition of Yatnal, Khuba, and two others are boosted the chances of his party. Yatnal said that he would be fighting assembly election from Vijayapura constituency and that he would be filing nomination papers on Basava Jayanti day. He said that those who are against his entry into BJP were the ones who never worked for the party, and because of whom the party faced debacle in zilla and taluk panchayat elections.

"Tripura formula" of BJP will not work in Karnataka. In Tripura BJP weaned away 18 sitting Congress MLAs and gave them BJP ticket. All these people won, but not due to BJP wave, but due to their personal clout. Had they contested as Independent Candidates also, they would have won. But BJP knowing their local charisma, gave them Rs.25 crores each and also BJP ticket and weaned them to their side. This is how money works. But in Karnataka the leaders who have joined BJP now are all Lingayats with tarnished images and without local charisma. . Tripura formula of weaning other party members with huge money and giving them BJP ticket will not give any positive result because in Tripura all those people who jumped to BJP were sitting MLAs, whereas in Karnataka all these jumpers are "spent forces".

In Karnataka BJP hardly any able candidates who can go directly to the voters and seek blessings. So BJP is like 20-20 IPL Cricket team one politician from JD(S) other from Congress and some even from jail.
When the citizens of Karnataka voted BJP to power, they held assembly from resorts with Bellary Reddy's illegal money. When assembly in real session their minister busy watching 'porn'. Some even went to an extent of murdering their own wife and caught sleeping with paid sex worker. And some even tried to suicide after failed love.
Now BJP like famous English serial 'Games of thrones' new series with more 'operation Kamala'. From PM Modi to every BJP member wanted 'Congress free India'.But in reality opposition members have purged the Sangh Parivar's core.
Across the country, the BJP has fought elections by giving tickets to rebel Congress leaders rather than its own party cadre.
I write this in all seriousness but if it amuses you, you are free to laugh. I will be glad if you do. One wonders how the former Congress, SP and BSP leaders meet each other within the BJP. What do they say to each other? One finds it funny. Is the BJP a bank? Like the old currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000, leaders from other political parties come to the BJP and are exchanged for new ones. Earlier, it was commonly believed that there are people from the BJP in the Congress. But for the first time, one can say that there are people from the Congress within the BJP.”

The biggest fek in the histofy of India & the world is the Nehru family which hijacked the surname of Gandhiji for political gains. The poor people of India who even today think the Nehru family is blood rated to Gandhiji due to a stolen surname must know how this drama unfolded. Absolutely shocking cheats.

Hegde, do you have any idea about the Surnames of Parsi Community? Indiraji's Parsi husband's surname was Gandhi (Phiroze Gandhi). Many Parsi families have Gujarati Baniya Surnames for historical reasons.
Peroze Shah Mehta - Freedom fighter, do you say he stole surname from your Amit Shah or Fraudster Jatin Mehta?
Field Marshal Manek Shaw, did he steal surname from murderer Amit Shah ?.
Sohrab Modi & Keki Modi brothers, were famous Hindi film producers and also won Phalke Award. Do you say they are related to your Feku Modi? ( Sohrab Modi Produced 18 Hindi films out of which Yahoodi with Dilip Kumar and Meena kumari was a legend (which has a evergreen dialogue= Tum Kare to Sahi aur ham kare to bhool, Tum Kahe to Sach aur Ham kahe to Zoot, Tumhara Khoon Khoon aur Hamara khoon Paani ),

Rustom Patel a Cricketer of 1950-60,- did he steal surname from your Anandi Ben Patel?

Rusi-Rustom Modi a cricketer who played for Indian test side from 1946 to 1952 , did he steal surname from your Half-educated Narendra Modi?

I have worked in a Parsi Bank in Mumbai for 16 years and there were more than 1500 Parsi staff with me in our Head office. So I know better about Parsis and their Surnames & Culture.

The BJP has no efficient leaders to fight their opponents, so obviously they have to dig for a leader from other parties.

Election commission should not allow such people to contest if they join another party just before the election. There should be a law like ban (say 6 months to 1 year) to contest once you join another party leaving your existing party. Same should apply who leaves/joins another party soon after election results.
