Bantwal: Tension Prevails After Miscreants Injure Sangh Parivar Activist

Bantwal, Aug 27: Tension prevailed in B C Road area after miscreants attacked a Sangh Parivar activist near Kaikamba on Wednesday, August 27.

The injured has been identified as Bhaskar tailor (32). Some people attacked himwith sharp weapons around 8 pm on Wednesday and fled the spot immediately. He was later taken to a hospital in Mangalore. Sources informed that Bhaskar has been critically injured in the attack.

A furious mob damaged a few rickshaws in the town as news of the attack spread. However, local police immediately rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
