Bengaluru: For a change- MLA candidate offers free food, coffee, liquor and meat

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, April 7: As elections are approaching, candidates adopt innovative ways to lure voters. Suresh, a candidate in Chinthamani has offered three meals per day, two cups of coffee, 300 grams chicken and mutton per week for all, coriander powder chilly powder and pickle for women, if he gets elected.

The poster of Suresh with laughable assurances has gone viral in the social media.

Suresh says that the people in Bengaluru will become victims of selfish political leaders and become slaves of vices. “While some leaders do as promised, the others forget them,” he says.

The poster with the title 'Nanyake MLA agabaradu?' (Why cannot I become an MLA?) has become a matter of debate in the area.

“As the place is barren without water, agriculture is not possible here. Instead of that if the government provides suitable facilities, the people can have a life free from worries,” he says.

“People sell rice available in ration shops. Instead of that if we open canteens in panchayat and provide three meals and coffee or tea, twice in a day, the employment opportunities will increase. 300 grams of chicken, mutton will be given to all while coriander powder, chilly powder and pickle will be distributed among women,” he adds.

Free liquor

He has promised liquor once in a month for those above 18 years of age. “There are more than 40 bars in Chinthamani. The money paid by daily wage workers there gets converted as black money. Therefore, the bars should be closed and liquor should be distributed free once a month. Nobody will drink too much then and becomes alcoholics. They should pay tax on any items bought by them with the money saved by them. I will fulfil these promises through the government. The tax paid by people comes back to the government,” he states.

One wonders if Suresh will get elected.

Spending money on jobless people is good.(working people do not have time to MLA free food ...etc) Let him spend. after-all the money belong to tax payers and not his money. Remember - NOBODY WILL SPEND HIS HARD-OWNED MONEY ON ELECTION. It is either donations from black money holders or grabbed tax payers money. No pain for them.

I am sure he will win, if he promise unlimited free liquor and chicken sukka on daily basis. He can keep the coriander power, chilly power and pickkle and instead supply free make up kits for women. The election results will tell why he can't be a MLA. Try this trick in UP but not in Karnataka.

Never make a promise, you can't keep up. I am writing here a story of a man who was asked at the Job interview, how he could complete his degree, being poor. He said, he went to an Indian shopkeeper, by name Musa and told him to give a loan to complete his education. Musa did not give him loan but, gave him full ration for his entire family till he completed his degree. After the degree and getting job, this man went to Musa and asked him how he wants him to repay. While saying this, the person with tears in his eyes said what Musa told him. "Don't give me anything, but help people who are in need, as you were" See the difference between a politician and a compassionate man.

Wonder of this candidates promise, and if he can keep this after election when he is elected? When alcohol is prohibited and this fellow openly offers, there will be more problems.People get drunk and police have enough work. Can he afford to offer free food to people?lets wait and see the result.Instead he could offer jobs and education to children will be more appriciated .
