Bagalkot, Apr 7: With Karnataka Assembly polls round the corner, an audio clip of an intimate conversation, allegedly between former union minister and Congress MLA from Jamakhandi, Siddu Nyamagouda and a woman who is a party worker is making the rounds on social media.
However, Siddu Nyamagouda claims the 16 minute audio clip to be fake, adding it’s a conspiracy to destroy his political career.
"Those who are unable to digest the development I brought to the constituency and jealous about my success are behind this," he alleged.
Demanding that strict action should be taken against those who want to destroy his reputation, he said that he will be lodging a complaint with the Superintendent of Police, to find the origin of the clip and those behind it.
Siddu Nyamagouda gained prominence after he defeated political heavyweight and former Karnataka CM Ramakrishna Hegde in 1991 Lok Sabha elections.
