Udupi, Apr 9: The Mandavi Acropolis, Tower E project by Mandavi Developers, was inaugurated and blessed at Udupi on Sunday, April 8, by Fr Godfrey Saldanha.
"Udupi is known for many historical milestones. Great personality like Dr T M A Pai and his family and other important personalities have brought development to this city. The first telephone exchange centre and Syndicate Bank were started here. Adding to the city’s development will be the well designed Mandavi Acropolis apartment site, which can be called as ‘Mandavi city’. Jerry Vincent Dias has converted this site into a small beautiful township," said Fr Godfrey Saldanha.
He praised Jerry’s humble personality, where he associates with all people undiscriminating of caste, creed and religion. Jerry’s life and achievements is a message to all. The secret of his success is he believes in ‘God is first and God comes first’, said Fr Saldanha wishing Mandavi Acropolis to become an important landmark in the city.
“Just four years back, Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised concepts of ‘Swacchh Bharath Andolan, eradication of corruption and ‘Navya Bharath Nirman’. The movement is happening across the nation, but we cannot see cleanliness anywhere. But here in the Acropolis building campus, we feel like we are in some other country in terms of cleanliness,”
said Mount Rosary Church Parish Priest Fr Dr Leslie Clifford D’Souza.
This proves that if people have a will, it is possible to bring about a positive change. Corruption is rampant everywhere. Few businessmen are doing a transparent business. Jerry Dias is one of them, treading the right path with courage. Navya Bharat was a dream of former President Abdul Kalam and our dream too. The dream of new India will become a reality soon, he added.
Jason Dias briefed the features of Acropolis Tower E and upcoming projects. Earlier, Jerry Vincent Dias welcomed the gathering and Glen Dias gave the vote of thanks. Steevan Colcao, compered the programme.
