Dubai: Kapikad’s Tulu twin comedy plays receive rousing response

Dubai, Apr 9: Precious Parties Entertainment along with associate sponsor ‘Udentichim Neketram’, successfully presented the most awaited Tulu twin plays of Telikeda Bolli Devdas Kapikad, ‘Panyere Avandina’ and ‘Bangaar’ at Sheik Rashid Auditorium here on April 6.

Both the comedies saw houseful audience. People were seen enjoying every moment of twin dramas.

The inaugural ceremony was initiated with lighting of lamp by the chief guests of the event Joseph Mathias from Merit Freight Group, Harish Sherigar of Acme Building Materials, Dayan D’Souza, Valerian D’Almeida, Devdas Kapikad and Sharmila Kapikad along with Rudolf Sanctis, Cyprian Fernandes, Arun D’Souza and Joshve D’souza.



Joseph Mathais in his inaugural message thanked the organizers for organising the mega event after a long time in Dubai and wished success for the future. He called on the audience to support and preserve Tulu culture.

Devdas Kapikad and Sharmila Kapikad were honoured during the event by the dignitaries on the stage.

Devdas Kapikad highlighted and appreciated the support of Tulu lovers in Dubai for all his projects and stated that he will remain grateful to all who supported him throughout these years.

All the sponsors and well-wishers were honored by John Rego and Joel Correa with Ullas Fernandes. The event was compered by Sampath Shetty.

The show was houseful and thousands of Tulu lovers witnessed the laughing fest and enjoyed the non-stop comedy for five hours.

The organizers thanked all their sponsors and well-wishers for their generous contribution and the audience who made the show a grand success with their gracious presence.
