Bengaluru: Cong aspirant paid Rs 2 crore to 'fix' BJP Chickpet ticket, claims viral message

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru(DC)

Bengaluru, Apr 10: Soon after BJP MLA N R Ramesh was denied the BJP ticket from Chickpet, his supporters protested against their own leader R Ashok. N R Ramesh too openly expressed his displeasure over candidate selection in the first list. Now, there are messages doing the rounds on social media like Facebook and WhatsApp that a 'deal' was struck between the Congress and BJP leaders in this regard.

N R Ramesh was expecting a ticket from Chickpet constituency but the party chose businessman Uday Garudachar over him.

In the viral message, it is alleged that R V Devaraj who is a Congress ticket aspirant from the same constituency 'decided' his opponent in the Assembly polls and allegedly paid Rs 2 crore to the BJP so as to score an easy victory.

L to R: N R Ramesh, R V Devaraj, Uday Garudachar

The message further claims that the Congress leader struck a deal by offering Rs 2 crore to union minister Ananth Kumar.

Soon after the message went viral on social media, BJP president B S Yeddyurappa refuted the allegations and said that N R Ramesh does not speak such falsehoods. "I will speak to him and resolve the issue. There is no discontent in the party," he said.

Upset over missing the ticket from the party, N R Ramesh had resigned as the city spokesperson on Monday April 9 and alleged that Chickpet was offered to Uday at the behest of union minister Ananth Kumar.

He publicly made a statement that Ananth Kumar did not respect a genuine party worker like him in the BJP.

The real factor that played major role in getting BJP ticket to Uday Garudachar is his caste.
Central Minister Anath Kumar is a Telugu Brahmin. And as per the unwritten constitution of RSS - a Brahmin should be always given the ticket where one contestant is a Brahmin and another contestant is of Backward caste. Here in Chikpet BJP candidate Garudachar is a Vaishnava Brahmin and Ramesh is just a backward caste. So naturally Brahmin Garuda got ticket as per Nagpur rules.
If BJP gets clear majority in Karnataka then Yaddy will NOT become Chief Minister, but surely a Brahmin will become Chief Minister, most probably Anant kumar himself will be CM. To placate Yaddy he may be given Central Ministership. Just remember when BJP got clear majority in Maharashtra Assembly how backward caste Gopinath Munde was removed from the scene itself and Brahmin Devendra Fadnavis got Chief Ministership.

This viral message, naturally propagated by BJP leaders tells too many things about BJP itself. Therefore, not worth taking it seriously. But, there are few KPI's, since it emerged from BJP.

    1. Ananth Kumar can do anything for money.
    2. BJP leaders can be swayed with money as they are greedy.
    3. BJP leaders may be not that confident of their election win, so they can be bought even for 2crore, which is pea-nuts in political calculations.

What is 2 crores for these rogues? It could be much more than that. Whatever the amount, what does this imply? That there is a lot of connection between the BJP and the Congress leaders and all this talk in public criticising each other is just for the gallery. Just for fooling you and me. At the end of the day, the BJP rogues and the Congress rogues are all one. They are all equal in the loot maar of the state and the country.

I don't think it is just a matter of 2 crores as these days no one cares for 2 crores.
It must be a minimum of 10 crores and above.
We Indians are rich and talk in terms of thousands of crores these days.
