Kundapur, Apr 10: The protests for drinking water held by Herikudru residents near Herikudru underpass on Tuesday April 10, witnessed political blame-game between BJP and Congress parties. The people, who are tired of it, warned of boycotting elections if they do not get water.

The pipeline that supplies drinking water to villagers in Herikudru was damaged due to national highway 66 works. Therefore, people here are deprived of drinking water for the last one and a half month. The local people urged to change the pipeline near the highway and provide water.



‘We do not want dirty politics but water’

“We do not want dirty politics of you coming to us for votes. We want supply of drinking water. We are not protesting with the support of political parties. We are demanding only for water,” said the protesters.

    Its time To nationalize all water Bodies and hand it over to the Army or the Navy to manage...as dr. Kalam suggested.
    They are the best bet....
    Professional..no nonsense.
    They make things happen with strict discipline..
    These Politicians...can only talk and create problems than solving...
    Follow the Japanese..Israelis...Singapore..Dubai..where they have issues of water but yet 24 hours supply with best Water....

    how and why???
    They mean business. work...results.

    Dear people of kundapur, disconnect the pipelines of those, who are involved in dirty politics, and boycott elections.. Enough is enough... Let them understand that water is an important source of survival

    Why are you spreading false news ? Whats the hell Niddheramayy is doing Sleeping? He will start 'Neeru Bhagya' only for Minorities. What about others ? This corrupt congress government should be sacked and President Rule should imposed in Karnataka? I don't understand how many scams this Congress involved with.
