Hyderabad: Asaduddin Owaisi’s MIM to back JD(S) in Karnataka

Hyderabad, Apr 16 (IANS): The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) on Monday said it will not contest next month's Assembly elections in Karnataka and instead support the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S).

"We want a non-Congress and non-BJP government in Karnataka for qualitative development," MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi told the media. 

 


The Hyderabad MP said if necessary he would address public meetings in support of the JD-S headed by former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda.

    JD(S) and BJP are just like remarrying ex-wife. If BJP is existing in Karnataka it is just because JD(S) who former coalition and dumped his partner when marriage contract broke between this two parties.

    We Kannadigas do not want hung assembly, were BJP with tonnes of money will start over 'operation Kamala'.

    The pre-poll survey is already predicted the hung assembly which is not good for the interest of the state. If such situation arises BJP will sacrifice Chief Ministerial post for Kumaraswamy and demand key ministries to keep the Congress out of the power.

    If that happens Karnataka will see raise communal disturbance which BJP will blame of JD(S) for failures, just like CM Nitish in Bihar which already seen 800 riots in less than 10 months.

    Asaduddin Owaisi of MIM very well know that JD(S) and BJP already have secret pre poll strategy. One will be seen in CM Siddaramaiah's own constituency.

    Each seat JD(S) gains it is better position to bargain from the bigger partners. The citizens are not going to get anything in this deal other than another Uttar Pradesh in the making.

    People are no more interested with Hindu Party or Muslim Party. Now the war is going on in our country is Right wing v/s Rest. Wherever right wing come to power, that country will go for disaster irrespective of religion. Now the people have single agenda is to oust the current Central govt which is supporting rapes, violence, atrocities, intention of changing the constitution, Economy slowdown etc.
    This Owaisi has lost deposit in Bihar and UP assembly elections and now he don't want to lose more money and face again in Karnataka. He is not representing the entire muslim community. Except his bastion in Telangana, no muslims has accepts him as a leader.
