Dubai: Karnatak Islamic Bureau Organises Fatwa Session

Dubai, Sep 4: Karnatak Islamic Knowledge Bureau  had Organized  a Fatwa Session on Ramadan conducted under the patronage  of Dubai Islamic  Affairs and Chartable Activities Department (Government of Dubai ), UAE on Friday

29th August 2008. Event was held at Jamiat Ul Islahi Hall, near LuLu Hyper Market, Ghusais, Dubai. The program started at 7.30 P.M.  with the Inaugural address by the Senior advisor at I A C A. The Fatwa secession on Ramadan was delivered by Mufti Shajehan Nikhab Al Hashami the Senior Mufti of I A C A. He explained in detail about the Importance of  the Holy month of Ramadan & took out time to clarify lot of enquiries which were raised by the audience.

The Second session  started with the Lecture from Janab Javed Umri and he too briefed the audience regarding the month of Ramadan according to Quran and Sunnha. He emphasized the importance of this month and spoke about the  “Night of Power “ (Lailathul Qadr ). His lecture was also covered the significance of fasting in Quran and the benefit it gives to an Individual. He also explained about the Jakath, Its importance, its obligation and rewards of Jakath.

During this Occasion a valuable book in English titled “Ask about Ramadan “ was released by Althaf Parangipet, Vice President Jamathul Falah UAE, and Mohammad Ebrahim Muloor , Vice president of Bearys Cultural Forum U.A.E. This book is complied by Janab Javeed Ahmed Khateeb and it contains 100 question and answer s about Ramadan.

The Event was attended by approximately 700 people  including ladies who had a separate meeting area. The program was concluded at 9.30 P.M. by Mohammed Hejamdi  ,President of KIKB. It concluded with snacks as the left the auditorium.
