Udupi: Newly renovated 'World of Titan' store inaugurated

Udupi, Apr 28: With a focus on exceeding its retail ambiance and to provide its customers with a more joyous shopping experience, Titan Company Ltd’s ‘World of Titan’ inaugurated its newly renovated store in the heart of city at CPC Plaza, opposite KSRTC bus stand here on Friday, April 27.

Head of retail watches and accessories Titan Company Ltd’s Sanjay Bhattacharjee inaugurated the showroom by cutting the ribbon. Dr N B Vijay Ballal lit the lamp accompanied with other guests.



Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Bhattacharjee said, “This showroom has been in this town since nine years. Titan is looking forward to provide its customers a wide range of watches with stylish and new designs. World of Titan brands include Titan, Fastrack, Sonata, Fastrack sunglasses and smart watches, and other accessories. There is a service center here, to service watches and replace spares.

“I want to ensure that the customers walk out with a smile on their face whether they purchase something over here or not. We have been serving day and night, and will continue doing so.

“We have different types of watches here like Titan Raga for women, Masaba, Nebula and Titan Edge which is a ceramic watch. We have Fastrack brand which caters to youth.
Perfumes, leather accessories, and wallets are also available in the store. We have Swizz brand, Tommy Hilfiger, Police and other ethnic brands.

“We also have 18 carat solid gold watch called Nebula. This watch comes with life time warranty.

“We always ensure that we have what the customer wants. Smart watches are the future. We are going to launch many such watches in the coming years. Currently, we have two products available here - Titan WE for women, which has the safety features for women and Fastrack Reflex Band. Smart watch collection is definitely going to increase here in future.

“There are about 49 titan brand outlets in Karnataka and a total of 191 in South India. As many as 493 showrooms exist across the country. We have Fastrack store and retail showrooms with watches and accessories. We are associated with more than 50 international brands including Titan,” he said.

Fr Valerian Mendonca blessed the showroom and said, “Let this showroom provide good service to its customers. I pray to God to bless this venture. God is beyond time. Philosophers have tried to define time as duration between before and after, but it is not easy to define time. Titan is here to help us know the value of time which God has given us.”

Another guest Dr Vijay Ballal said, “I would wish and pray to God that this showroom delights all hearts and homes. If we are conscious of time, our life, health and duty will go on smoothly. Earlier, there were other methods to know time, but now a watch helps us. Titan watches created a revolution in Karnataka. The brand Titan occupies its place in everyone's heart, because of its quality and durability. People of all age groups love to have a Titan watch on their wrist. I pray to God to show his grace on the showroom and its owner.”

Mustafa Saqaafi Qutib of Ramaniyya Masjid, CREDAI president Jerry Vincent Dias, and Fr Romeo Lewis, parish priest of Our Lady of Fathima Church, Perampally were present. Franchise owner Maxim Saldanha and his wife Gretta Saldanha along with were present on the occasion.
