Dubai: Local Artistes to Present 'Ganguna Gammath' on Oct 17

Dubai, Sep 6: Kannadigas residing in UAE, have an opportunity to see of the most hilarious Tulu dramas of recent days in Dubai shortly. Ganguna Gammath is quite popular and has won accolades both in the Gulf as well as back in Mangalore.

Prabhakar Ambalathere, who always encourages the Kannada activities here in the Gulf, is going to present this drama to the Kannadigas residing in UAE under his sponsorship with the help of local artistes. The drama is going to be staged at Dubai Indian Consulate, Auditorium on October 17, 2008. This drama will be directed by local artiste Vishwanath Shetty along with local artistes who are residing in Dubai and Sharjah. VIshwanath Shetty will also be one of the actors of the drama.




















The Muhuratham of the drama was held at K1 friends premises at Sharjah with lighting of the lamp by the local artistes followed by traditional ritual by Harish Kamath Vittal. The ex-president of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, Ganesh Rai extended his good wishes to all the artistes and the director of the drama.

Chief organizer of the drama Prabhakar Ambalathere handed over the script   to Vishwanath Shetty, the director of the drama.
