Mangaluru, Apr 30: Students of Expert PU College, Kodialbail and Valachil campuses, have come out with flying colours in this year's PU exams, with a total pass percentage of 98.40%
Of the total 1, 381 students who wrote the examination, 1,371 students have passed with a pass percentage of 99.28. As many as 761 students have passed in distinction, 89 students have scored more than 95% marks and 432 students have scored more than 90%.
M M Chanchal scored 589 out of 600 and became the topper in Kodialbail campus whereas Neha P Mane scored 588 and became the topper in Valachil campus. Neha has also scored 100 each in physics, chemistry, mathematics and statistics.
Another student Vaishvi P J of Valachil campus has scored 100 each in physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology with a total of 587. While 10 students have scored 100 out of 100 in 3 subjects, 24 students have secured 100 each in 2 subjects. The prominent feature to be noted in the results here is that, 46 students secured 100 in physics, 41 students in chemistry, 66 students in mathematics, 13 students in biology, 11 in statistics, 4 in computer science, 7 in Sanskrit, 2 in electronics and 1each in Kannada and Hindi.
