Muscat: MCCP Declares Annual Drawing Competition Results

Muscat, Sep 7: The Mangalorean Catholic Centre of the Parish recently conducted the “Annual Drawing competition 2008” for the children at the St Peter and Paul Church Main Hall.
It was a great feeling to see the faces of children flocked at the registration desk that morning .They looked excited and enthusiastic to exhibit their skills. Victoria Soares, General Secretary of MCCP welcomed the children and the gathering and wished them good luck. Nirmala Goveas, main coordinator for Cultural, Spiritual and Community Services recited the prayer. The rules of the Drawing Competition were presented by Hazel Dais, Cultural Secretary of MCCP.

Anchor of the program, Victoria Soares did a great job in presenting the program with precise notes.
Nirmala Goveas, main coordinator of Cultural, Spiritual and Community Services committee took the charge of the full competition and organized everything meticulously. Hazel Dias, Samuel D’ Silva, Hilda Fernandes, Sunil Mascarenhas, Victoria Soares, Hubert D’ Souza, Dolly Sequeira, Arun D’ Souza, Donald Fernandes and Alex Aranha extended great support to Nirmala. The MCCP members who supported the competition were Lancy Sequeira, Philomena Moras, Victor Baptist Pais, Lancy Lobo, Irene Fernandes, Flavia D Souza, Jane Castelino, Dr. Elvin Concesso, Reena Mathias and Cynthia Mendonca.
