Mangalore, Sep 7: A car rolled on to a private compound between Bejai church and Kadri police station on Sunday September 7.
The car belonged to a certain lawyer in the city. Sources said that the car rolled over when the driver tried to save a pedestrian who appeared in front all of a sudden.
A couple and their son who were the occupants of the car survived the mishap. Although the car was totally damaged, all of them including the pedestrian escaped without any injuries.
The traffic police rushed to the rescue of the car occupants and managed to tow the car to their yard.
Kadri traffic police have registered a case in this regard.
