Riyadh: Mangalorean Shona Prabhu Makes Her Mark in the World of Fashion

Riyadh, Sep 15: Shona Prabhu, a Mangalorean girl, has been was selected as the model for 'Al Jalabiah Ramadan Exhibition', by Saudi fashion designer Asma Al Fouzan, from among a number of models. Asma is one of the top couturiers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Asma collection has been featured at Harvey Nichols in the exclusive Al Faisaliah Towers situated on King Fahad Road in the city. The collection has been displayed alongside other leading designers like Creation Amale, Laila Zoaibi Fashion, Sara Haute Couture, and Indian designer Kubra Al Qaseer.


Shona  is the daughter of Royston and Amitha Prabhu of Bejai, Mangalore, and has done her schooling from the International Indian School in Riyadh. She then graduated from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore with a distinction in Nutrition and Dietetics. Presently, she is pursuing her post graduate studies in Manipal.

Shona's hobbies are beauty and fashion. She is also a star badminton player, and has represented her school at the All India CBSE shuttle badminton tournament held in New Delhi when she was in class 10.
