Bengaluru: Full term CM post to JD(S) - Kharge stands by high command

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jun 4: Leader of the Congress parliamentary party in the Lok Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, commented that the decision to continue H D Kumaraswamy as the chief minister of Karnataka for the full term of five years was taken by the party high command and conveyed by in-charge of party affairs in Karnataka, K C Venugopal. He stated that he is committed to this decision of the party.

Speaking to media persons in the city on Sunday June 3, Kharge said that all the leaders as a team have embraced the decision of the high command. He complained that his name is being unnecessarily being dragged in the issue.

"I have never held any discussion about the post of the chief minister. I have not even taken up this issue with K C Venugopal, nor did I participate in party's meeting. Still, my name is being involved without rhyme or reason," he complained.

About the resignation of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee working president, S R Patil, Kharge termed Patil as a sincere senior leader who has stayed loyal to the party. He said that party leaders will study the reasons for which he has resigned, and take a decision. "Personally I am not aware why he resigned. Party president and K C Venugopal will take a decision on this issue," he added.

There is a Hindi proverb- Doobte Ko tinkeka Sahara. A drowning man will even hold on to a twig.
This proverb fits right for Congress's condition in Karnataka. Here in after Congress has to walk on a tight rope, one pole of which is Karnataka state Congress and the other is RaGa. The problem is RaGa somehow wants his party keep breathing. To ensure that he has no way but to bow down to any level and for that purpose he wants state Congress leaders to sacrifice their ambitions. State leader's r not at all happy to play underdogs.

Good decision. Coalition Govt was possible only because of JDS. Greed kills!
However, we now get to see a strange development.
Suddenly so many erstwhile INC haters to the core have become their sympathizers!
INC or secular party voters are happy with the development!

Congress 'Hane Baraha' will never change whether it is EVM or paper ballet as long as Pappu leads the party. Status of Congress has reached below the level of a small regional party. Congress has lost all its strength to bargain any post.

Do you remember that during 2014 assembly election the government at the center was of UPA and EC was under them. Still BJP got massive victory. How can we link EVMs, EC and BJP during that election? If you say the EC that time was autonomous or EC was under central government's control, either way it won't suit to your hypocrisy.
