Belagavi: Young entrepreneur of 'Amrut Malam' fame Shailesh ends life

Daijiworld Media Network - Belagavi (SP)

Belagavi, Jun 5: Young owner of the city-based Amrut Pharmaceuticals, which had become a household name because of 'Amrut Malam' ointment for treating various skin-related deceases, Shailesh Joshi (40), committed suicide by turning his own pistol towards his chest at around 1.30 am on Monday, June 4.

It is gathered that Shailesh was suffering from liver-related health complications. He also was going through a period of mental turmoil on account of his recent divorce, sources claim.

Shailesh fired at his chest by using his pistol in the early morning of Monday. On account of family disputes, he had officially divorced from his wife on May 18 this year. His estranged wife and two children live at Pune while Shailesh used to live with his mother in the city.

A death note was found in the room of the deceased's residence where his body was found. Shailesh, through the note, has sought apologies from his children. While confirming that he is solely responsible for his own death, Shailesh has expressed the desire that his property should not be disposed off.

After hearing pistol shots at night, people living in the neighbourhood woke from their slumber and conveyed information to the police personnel of camp station here. The police who arrived at the residence of Shailesh found his body lying in a pool of blood.

Shailesh's grandmother, Mayi Joshi, had set up Amrut Pharmaceuticals in 1938. The company has grown by leaps and bounds and currently employs hundreds of people. Shailesh's father Sharad, took measures to popularize Amrut Malam. During the tenure of Shailesh, the company grew its presence in south Indian states, and its annual turnover runs into several crores of rupees as of now.

Shailesh had won several awards and felicitations including Udyog Ratna for his achievements.

I agree with all your points except one " a great loss to India". This statement itself is very fictitious.

A person who cannot take care of himself will become a liability for himself and others. Running away from reality rather solving the issue and facing it, is not the sign of positive outlook. Right counselling could have saved his life.

    RIP to Shailesh.

With due respect to the soul of Shailesh, I really feel sad for his wife and two children. Shailesh has forgotton the impact what he will create in his children's mind for rest of their life.

Ego, lonliness, depression, suppression of feeling all might have added to his agony. No wife wants to leave her husband with 2 kids.

Majority of our celebrities who divource their partner, are always respect each other and still continue to live as friends.

    RIP Shailesh.

He might have undergone tremendous mental pressure due to domestic problems. May his soul rest in peace. BRAVE CONFRONTS PROBLEMS AND BECOME VICTORIOUS, WHEREAS SENSITIVE will succumb to pressures.May his soul rest in peace. One thing is sure , money can not buy peace of mind.

Sad..RIP..what is the use of so much of richness when mind is not at peace. This is reality of life today.Outside you see all is well, glamourous and popular, while inner heart and soul is desperate to get little love and affection.I consider myself to be out of similar turmoil, God's strength to find peace where I am now. Thanks to God Almighty....

I heard that walking barefoot is good for health. We cannot walk barefoot in day to day life, but we can do excercise barefoot like 🏃 on treadmill.
I have been running on treadmill barefoot since 4 years @ 7 mph / 7 inclination & it has given me tremendous health benefits.
When we run on treadmill @ high speed we have to take heart into consideration. So I suggest start @ 3 mph for 5 mins, then 4 mph for 10 mins, 5 mph for 5 mins & then end with a bang @ 7 mph for 1 min. But make sure to attach the safety clip to the cloth to make sure treadmill powers off if someone feels loses control or for some other reason.

It's related because Shailesh died of liver complication. We have to convert negative energy inside house & outside into positive energy, else liver gets confused.
I have heard that sensation under the feet is due to liver ailments. So running barefoot is good for health. Have you read the news of Ramakrishna mutt renovating a park in Mangaluru & then putting pebbles for people to exercise by walking on them. It works the similar way like running on treadmill barefoot. No doctor would recommend this as they would go out of business after paying crores in fees & burning midnight oil.

During family turmoil, the first organ that gets affected is Liver. Some of the symptoms as per my understanding are sensation in the tongue & under the feet. We need expert opinion from doctor's in this column.
    RIP Shailesh.

Emotional turmoil affects all organs, not liver alone. For the liver especially to have been affected, excessive intoxication or medicines in large doses are the reason.

Before we argue any further on the diseased person, its important that we know which of the above caused his health deterioration.

Regardless, may God grant peace to his soul because his death is not something that can be pressed 'Ctrl+z' for.

💓 we can feel with the heartbeat, lungs we can feel when breathing but there is nothing to feel the liver. We can do excercise to keep heart & lungs healthy like yoga, workout etc., Can some doctor in this column suggest if yoga & workout works on liver too.
