UAE: Countdown Begins for JAKC 'Konkan Dabazo'

UAE, Sep 17: Jebel Ali Konkani Community is now all set for presenting their annual event, 'Konkan Dabazo' on Sep 18, 2008.

As announced earlier in daijiworld.com, the organisers have received tremendous response for the show, in which noted Konkani composer and singer Vincent Fernandes with his group, will render Konkani hit songs.

A fashion show is also being organised on the occasion, with a good number of contestants already registered for the event.

On Wednesday Sep 17, 2008, Radio Spice 105.4 FM will air special competitions on the event and give away dinner coupons for the show.

John Montiero, president of JAKC informed daijiworld, that each and every member of the organisation is taking special interest and putting in efforts, to make this event successful. He said, that the association had succesfully conducted Monti fest event during the last week, and the festival had drawn huge number of devotees from Konkani community from across UAE.
 
The programme will commence at 7.30 pm  at the Jebel Ali Church Hall.

A baila session will be held at the end of the programme, for the sake of dance and music lovers.
 
Sumptuous buffet dinner in Mangalorean cuisine, will be served by Canara Restaurant at the end of the programme.
