Congress corporator's son stabs girlfriend's friend in Davangere

Davangere, Jun 6: A Congress corporator's son has landed in trouble after he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend’s friend in Davanagere’s KTJ Nagar police station limits.

The accused identified as Rakesh is the son of Congress corporator Lingaraju.

The victim, who happens to be a cameraman, was badly injured after the assault and has been admitted in hospital.

 

Meanwhile, a case has been lodged with the police in connection with the incident.

According to police sources, Rakesh is yet to be arrested and only an FIR has been filed in KTJ Nagar Police Station limits.

The cops say that a misunderstanding led to the assault. Rakesh was close to a girl but she rejected his proposal and said she wanted to be his friend.

The girl who was interested in modeling and has acted in two album songs later became close to the cameraman. Though they were friends, Rakesh misunderstood their relationship and fought with the cameraman and in anger stabbed him, sources say.

    The accused has gone too far.Arrest him immediately and punish him accordingly.He must have felt already as son-in law although girl rejected him,or wanted to take him off his way?Pure jealousy.?He shouldnt get any extra treatment because he was politicians daughters friend.

    his father's party at state which is supposed to maintain law and order... unfortunately they don't know what's meant by that and never bothered for all these years. and how u expect them to justice now. Already ensured protection and all required legal formalities must be over to escape him. Pity state of this state.... there was a hope of BJP coming to power and state would have seen a different governance... not all chors came together calling it as "coalition" and screwed back the entire public of the state.

So, illiterate MP making a statement threatening the police officer that he would teach him a lesson itself shows that 78 is still better than allow lawlessness of your goondas to prevail.

    If any individual commits crime, his party or organisation is not responisible, untill & unless its party agenda says so.
    His corporator father should be held responsible for giving him poor upbringing and supporting his petty crimes initially, which led to such an extend.
    I also oppose those sick minded people who blame Modi-Yogi-BJP for each and every incident happening in the country.
    We are a huge undisciplined and unplanned nation with exploited population.
    And we the educated ones just post comments like - Modi should do that, BJP should be doing this, Yogi should mind only UP.
