Badami: Congress has not ignored me - former CM Siddaramaiah

Daijiworld Media Network – Badami (EP)

Badami, Jun 7: Former chief minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah visited Badami Assembly constituency for the first time on June 7 after his election victory.

Speaking to news reporters after offering special pooja at Banashankari temple near Badami town, he assured that the Congress party has neither ignored him nor his supporters. “Representation in the cabinet was not based on personal choices. Some of my close aides have been included in the cabinet. Party has taken decisions based on many factors,” he said.

“The six berths that are remaining will be filled on the basis of region, caste and social justice. Assumption that the Congress party has surrendered to JD(S) is not correct. The party did not want communal forces to come to power. Therefore, it joined hands with JD(S),” he added.

“Congress party has a long and rich heritage and nobody can destroy it,” he said.

Siddaramaiah declined to comment on the question if KPCC working president S R Patil was annoyed with him.

He assured that Badami constituency will be developed in next five years.

S R Patil did not accompany him during his visit.

Siddaramaiah visited family members of Rajappa Jalageri, farmer who committed suicide on May 25 as Jammanakatti village, Badami. He handed over Rajappa's wife Ambavva a cheque for Rs 5 lacs from the government and Rs 1 lac from his personal funds.

Though Siddaramaiah contested from Badami and Chamundeshwari in Mysuru, he lost to JD(S) party's G T Deve Gowda by a margin of over 36,042 votes in Chamundeshwari and but won by defeating BJP's Sriramulu by a margin of 1696 votes in Badami.

Most Christians and few Muslims too got lured into the trap and now bedees are trying to get bigger mileage with Rani who did nothing good for anybody!! This is how disaster triggered in most countries ended high and dry!!

oh is it... not sure why had to call out... that itself proves you are cornered and ignored. We know and we can see sir... no issues. But whole world knew that you will be cornered and ignored after the state election. You were made a bakra while contesting. after the election whole world knew we will not see you in any of the portfolios. Especially when congress joined hands with JDS, that declared your downfall. Now simply given some biscuits like position and asked to sit at a corner.

The next PM candidate for 2019 election - THE MAN WITH A VISION OF DEVELOPMENT .

Not fake person (like our Present PM. ), Not a religious leader, Well Educated person from a farmer family . A hardworking person. No Corruption. Still lives a simple life in his family home (Not like SHah

BJP is not in development of the country, it is destroying the country dividing people with poison of religion, hatred spread between friends & neighbors. Why there is no talk about development and achievement about BJP. They only divert your mind by faking lie they are savor of religion ( A Religion with millions of years of history, will be saved by a party formed in 30 Years) .

There are religious leader to talk and fight for religion. A PM or MP or MLA role is for serving the in
the development of the country and its people, to see all are equal & raise the downtrodden people of the society to be equal.

Our PM did not take his mother with him when he reached the heights of success, left his wife after marriage, dose not know what family life is. what can you expect from him ...,
Our PM just visits country in our money, if elected in 2019 i am sure his name will be included in MARS mission too because all the countries of the world is been coverd by him.
