Bengaluru, Jun 8: The current political situation in the State is ludicrous, Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers and Parliamentary Affairs Ananth Kumar said on Friday.
Kumar cast his vote for the Bangalore Graduates’ Constituency along with his wife Tejaswini Ananthkumar, Managing Trustee of Adamya Chetana, at the polling centre located in Saraswati Vidya Mandir near Lalbagh
He said that voters with awareness will bless the BJP candidates in the Teachers’ and Graduates’ assembly constituency elections.
Ananth Kumar said the current political situation, with H D Kumarasway government is ludicrous and has no direction, with the chief minister naming 25 ministers without any portfolio.
Even though the people had given highest number of seats to the BJP in the elections, JD(S) and Congress had made a backdoor entry to power. This is only temporary, he said.
The BJP leader said that a government without any direction is not good for the State. This coalition government is only a temporary one as the people cannot digest the fact that in the history of the State a person has become a Chief Minister with only 37 seats in the assembly.
He said already there is rebellion and dissatisfaction among the leaders & cadre of the JD(S) and Congress. The workers are not happy with the coalition of the two parties which were at loggerheads before the elections. Therefore, the coalition will be a short-lived one, he added.
Commenting on former President Pranab Mukherjee’s speech at the RSS headquarters, he said that it was an endorsement of the selfless service of RSS for the past 80 years.
