Karkala: Lovers charred inside car - tale of two shattered families

Daijiworld Media Network - Karkala (SP)

Karkala, Jun 11: In connection with the recovery of two burnt bodies of a man and a lady, at Pushpagiri near Halebeedu, Hassan district, on the night of Friday June 8 continues to puzzle the police. Police personnel from Hassan district arrived at Palli in the taluk on Saturday to probe the case.

Sandhya Acharya (28) from Elinje near Mulky had married Shankar Prasad Acharya from Palli here, who operated a shop at Palli where he worked as goldsmith, about five years back. In the same shop, Sandhya used to undertake tailoring work. The couple has a three-year-old son.

Girish from Hassan district, who was running a bakery at Palli, was also married. He was staying in a rented room and has left behind a three-year-old child apart from wife, sources stated.

The couple seemed to have left Palli on Friday evening and charred remains of their car with bodies of two human beings in it were found the same night at Pushpagiri near Halebeedu. There is suspicion that before fleeing, Girish would have committed murder or some other crime although nothing concrete has been found to support this suspicion so far.

Reports said that Sandhya and Girish got to know each other about a year back, after which they got attracted to each other. Sandhya's husband, who came to know about his wife's extra-marital relationship, had tried to convince her to mend her ways by getting the family of his in-laws to counsel with her and giving her some sane advice. But Sandhya was in no mood to heed to this advice. On the other hand, Girish too was unhappy with his wife. It is felt that the two would have hatched a plan and fled from Palli on the evening of June 8 in the car belonging to Girish.

The action of the lovers has left two families devastated. If the two had not drawn up a detailed plan for their future, there was no reason for them to leave their homes in a hurry to end their lives. If there was no plan, there was time to rethink on the issue. What made them to hurry through their plan of leaving their houses in a jiffy is still a secret. The two seem to have been unmindful of a trail of devastation they have left behind. Their respective spouses have become directionless, their children have become orphaned at a time they are in need of their support the most, and their parents would have been grieving their deaths and feeling ashamed at the same time. A little sane thinking would have saved their lives and these two families would have continued to survive and lead a cosy and comfortable life.

    Fatal Attraction!!
Forget 2018; in 1960 a very famous murder took place because of the wife's extramarital affair in a very prominent family in Mumbai: "Kamas Maneckshaw Nanavati was an Indian Naval Officer who had settled in Mumbai with his English wife, Sylvia, and their two children. As his work required him to be away from his family for long periods of time, his wife began an affair with his friend Prem Ahuja. Sylvia wanted to divorce Nanavati and marry Ahuja, but he refused. Distraught by the refusal, she spilled the beans about the affair to Nanavati when he returned to his family.

Nanavati was enraged, but he did not show it. He dropped Sylvia and their two children to a nearby cinema hall, proceeded to the Naval Docks from where he withdrew his pistol and six cartridges on an excuse, finished his shift and went to Ahuja’s office. He did not find him there. He proceeded to Ahuja’s flat and confronted him there asking whether he would marry Sylvia and take in his children.
    He refused.
    Nanavati shot him dead................"

If such cases have happened 60 years ago, what big thing now??

    RIP!

It will be a good end to a bad story but then should be contemplated.
There is a way out in such mishaps...and you should explore it broad mindedly...
Instead of bringing God..Winds of Lust and other unwarranted things after the incident.

THOSE WHO WANT TO INDULGE IN EXTRA MARITAL AFFAIRS PLS DO NOT GIVE BIRTH TO CHILDREN. IT IS SAD TO HEAR CHILDREN ORPHANED AND SOMETIMES EVEN KILLED BECAUSE OF SUCH SELFISH FUNLOVING ADULTS.

If caught balatkar, if not chamatkar. Many saints here may not know what is his angel is doing and vise versa. Ask yourself before pointing finger at others. We are no one to poke our nose in others matters.

Also I can see the burnt car is Hyundai.

Romans 6:23 CLEARLY TELLS US For the wages of sin is death.

A WOMAN WILL NEVER RUN AFTER A MAN IF HER HUSBAND LOOKS AFTER HER WELL BY FULFILLING HER ALL NEEDS.
SHE EXPECTS MORE ATTENTION AND CARE !
I SAW MOST OF THE MEN AFTER MARRIAGE OR AFTER A CHILD BIRTH NEGLECT WIFE.

Now please also enlighten the readers; what does the scripture say about a man who goes after another man's wife.

Well, its applicable to a woman too but I am asking about the man here, because you told a man must care for his woman if he wants her to be happy.

Just to enlighten our august readers, do you know , As per the Indian law, a woman cannot be punished for the offence of adultery. Only a man who has consensual sexual intercourse with the wife of another man without his consent can be punished under this offense in India. If someone "lives in adultery", the partner can file for divorce.
    Funny Law isn't it.

'Chharbi' when it happens in others' houses. If it had been in our own family, we would have not even raised the topic out of shame.

Let us respect the feelings of two families (especially children) that are suffering because of this.

It is too early to jump into conclusion and hence not appropriate too cast any aspersions from our human understanding. We can't and should not judge others. Let us wait and watch.
