Bengaluru: Two voters allege BJP candidate involved in RR Nagar voter id scam

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Jun 12: Adding a new dimension to the Rajarajeshwari Nagar voter id scam case, two voters from the constituency have filed separate complaints against BJP MLA candidate Muniraju Gowda for illegally collecting their voter id cards as well as falsely implicating RR Nagar Congress MLA N Munirathna in the voter id scam case.

According to complaints filed by R Kumar (39) and C Anandan (49) at Nandini Layout police station, Muniraju Gowda had organised a rangoli competition in Laggere six months back. However, he permitted entry to participants only if they submit their voter id cards and justified the act stating that he just wants to make sure that the participants are from his constituency.

Muniraju gave away gold, silver and money as awards for the winners. However, after the competition, he refused to return people the voter id cards and said that all voters will get the cards on the election day and he asked people to vote for him, the complaint states.

After the voter id cards were seized by the police and election commission, Gowda threatened people to name Congress candidate Munirathna if questioned, says Kumar in his complaint.

In another complaint, voter C Anandan says that he went to the police station after the voter id cards were seized to file complaint against Gowda. However, he claims that the police refused to file his complaint and his complaint is now being registered on the directions of the court.

Currently a criminal case has been filed against RR Nagar Congress MLA N Munirathna for illegally collecting over 10,000 voter ID cards.

When our autonomous Election commision of India acts like lame duck, the fraud in electoral system get more corrupt.

It is time all opposition should file complaint in Supreme Court for urgent hearing on the integrity of the Election commision of India.

Democracy of India is at risk. If not corrected we are going autocratic state with all system controlled by one person.

    Bhakts will never answer....

I will tell their present mentality... During UPA rule when when there was price high these ppl came to streets and protested like anything as they are going to die....

Now Under Feku Modi... Same ppl r saying that even Petrol price goes up to 200 Rs also they are ready to pay... They will not oppose Feku...

Now they are acting like 3 idiots chathur.... Last scene of the movie...

Where Chathur turns back and removes his pant, then he bends and say..
    "Jahanpanah!..tusi GREAT ho..tohfa kabool karo"......

Shame on these types of ppl...
