Mangaluru, Jun 15: Muslim brethren living in coastal districts of Karnataka celebrated Eid-Ul-Fitr on Friday, June 15 with devotion and sense of gratefulness towards the Almighty.
Eid marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, during which fasting is observed during the day.
Huge crowds could be seen gathering at nearby mosques braving rains early morning on Friday for offering special Eid prayers.

All the mosques in the city too saw large crowds of Muslims who offered special prayers and hugged each other and exchanged 'Eid Mubarak' greetings.
In Udupi, Muslims offered prayers at Jamia Masjid, Noorani Indrali mosque and other places.
