Beltangady, Jun 25: Deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwara who visited Dharmasthala said that former chief minister Siddaramaiah is not angry with him as published in some media.
He was speaking to media persons after he visited Dharmasthala temple on Sunday, June 24.
“Decisions on cabinet expansion and loan waiver will be taken shortly. There are no differences of opinion among the leaders in the party and coalition government,” Dr Parameshwar said.
"The decisions are taken only after discussions with leaders of both the parties. There is no confusion over loan waiver and budget presentation," he added.
"I have come here for the Darshan of Dharmasthala’s presiding deity Manjunatha. So, it is natural to hold talks with our leader Siddaramaiah who is here. There is nothing special,” he said.
As the coalition government has come to power, a budget will be presented with new proposals. But all the proposals from the former government will be continued, he informed.
It is speculated that some of the vacant posts in the cabinet and top posts in corporations will be filled soon to accommodate the dissidents before the Assembly session begins in July.
Congress workers who had come from Mangaluru to Ujire were not allowed inside ‘Shantivana’ to meet Siddaramaiah. The Congress workers expressed their displeasure over not being allowed inside. Later, Siddaramaiah came near the gate and pacified the workers. He also took selfies with them.
Siddaramaiah has been in Ujire since few days taking nature treatment at the SDM Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital.
