Siddaramaiah says future of coalition govt to be clear after Lok Sabha elections, video goes viral

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (DC)

Bengaluru, Jun 26: A statement by former chief minister Siddaramaiah about the present coalition government of Congress and JD(S) has come as a worry to chief minister H D Kumaraswamy who is already facing issues in running the present government.

In a video that has gone viral, Siddaramaiah who is undergoing two-week treatment at SDM Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital in Shantivana in Ujire near Dharmasthala is seen discussing about the Karnataka politics and upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In the video, Siddaramaiah, while answering to a person who is in conversation, says that the validity of the present coalition government is till Lok Sabha elections.

When the person says that it is difficult for the coalition government to last for 5 years, Siddaramaiah also agrees and says, "Yes it is difficult. Let us wait and watch till Lok Sabha elections. If opposition parties join hands Modi will not come back to power."

In the video, the person raises several doubts about the fate of present coalition government. Siddaramaiah however is seen only answering to what the person in conversation asks. However he did not say anything directly about the present coalition government and its future.

Meanwhile, Dr G Parameshwara while reacting to the statement said that the present government will complete five years. "As a KPCC chief I can say that we will complete five years. We cannot expect what will happen in the future,"

Meanwhile, MLC Ivan D’Souza too reacting to the controversy said that Siddaramaiah was only answering to the person who was in conversation with. "The coalition government will complete five years," he said.

I THINK ITS TIME FOR SIDDU TO SHUT HIS MOUTH AND CONSENTRATE ON HIS TREATMENT.. BETTER TO VISIT THE HOLY TEMPLE OF DHARMASTALA FREQUENTLY TO GET PEACE OF MIND ALSO TO GIVE PEACE OF MIND TO OTHERS....HDK SHOULD CONSENTRATE ON HIS WORK RATHER THAN SUCH BULLSHIT TALKS.

There is a strong point in what Siddanna says. In coalition govt. CM has to take in confidence all the members. Otherwise the govt. cant run smoothly.

    Sidda sotu Hoda bikari.

Does he think election repeat every 2 year for his power greed.

Either respectful allow the party to rule with some consequences and some opinion difference or quit and form new party just like he jumped from bjp to congress

With due respect to Siddhji must allow the present Government to run smoothly. This type of unwanted statement will not help. Even if anyone thinks I am stronger aKingmaker and I create my own image, which not help. Educated people of Karnataka will choose the right person and Party. Unlike Shri. YEDDIJI also had formed his own Party in the past and he couldn't able to succeed. SO its better ThankGod for providing an opportunity to form the coalition Government.

Lok Sabha seat sharing between the JDS and Congress and the outcome of the Lok Sabha elections will ensure HDKs continuation. We could have mid term elections for Karnataka Assembly if HDD and HDK blunder.

Uncertainty is fact and part of life. Nothing can be said about future.
Coalition Govt's tenures are always uncertain. Why deny fact?
But there is a point to make. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Comfort makes one lazy; however uncertainty will make them work, think over their future and forge necessary unity; otherwise such coalition would have been impossible.
They all started to think about their voters! Change for better. There is opportunity in every adversity.

BJP is a den of criminals. But until Congress is taking refuge under Rahul and Sonia, there is no alternative to BJP. Its a sheer shame that Indians rely on Rahul to lead this great country. Sidda should thank God that present political alliance with JD(S) saved his face and gave him some respite. Now he speaks as if after elections there would be a miracle in Karnataka.
