Kundapur, Jun 27: A man hailing from Madhya Pradesh, distressed that his wife left with their seven-year-son due to differences between them, was seen pleading with Kundapur police and Mahila Santwana Kendra here to help him trace his family.
Ranjith Singh (32) hails from Binmur, Krishnanagar in Madhya Pradesh. In 2008, he had married Uttar Pradesh based Kuntidevi. He says theirs was a love marriage and they were blessed with a son who they named Sunny.
After he was employed by a private firm in Kundapur to work as their bus driver, he settled with his family in a rented apartment at Koteshwar two years ago. They admitted Sunny to St Pius School on Kodi road and he was studying in second standard. Singh says he had minor differences with his wife but he never thought she will leave him and go.
On June 22, when Singh returned home after work, he was welcomed by the lock on the house door. His brother who stays on the first floor of the building said he saw Kuntidevi help Sunny board the bus.
Ranjith then went to St Pius School to enquire about his son and was shocked when the school authorities told that his wife had taken the Transfer Certificate saying they have to leave Kundapur as her husband had met with an accident.
Ranjith Singh immediately started looking out for his wife. He telephoned his hometown and the hometown of Kuntidevi. But to no avail. He says he has no clue regarding where she might have gone. Ranjith Singh who got frustrated lodged a missing complaint at Kundapur police station and also informed Kundapur Mahila Santwana Kendra.
“My wife and son are my life. I cannot live without them. Someone please find them for me,” he pleads.
