Bengaluru: BJP to hold padayatras all over state against 'non-functional' govt

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jun 29: BJP has decided to hold protest by way of Padayatras, which will be organized all over the state against the failure of the coalition government to undertake any people-friendly schemes even after a month since it was formed. Dates of this programme would be announced at the executive of the party being held here on Friday June 29.

BJP feels that since the partners of the coalition came together, they have been involved with rifts over a number of issues. The party has accused the government of lacking concern for the people.

"Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy initially said that he would waive farm loans but so far this promise has not been fulfilled. The government is busy with power sharing tussle. To condemn this attitude and pool public opinion, the party has planned the Padayatras," sources said. The party has urged the government to meet the promises it made to the people of the state without delay.

Speaking to media persons after the party meeting held in the city on Thursday June 28, BJP general secretary Ravikumar pointed out that chief minister, Kumaraswamy, had openly objected to opinion expressed by Sanehalli Swamiji at the very first meeting after winning the trust vote.

"He had said that it not advisable for Swamijis to speak about politics. But, now the chief minister was silent over derogatory statements made by Nanjavadhootha Swamiji in his presence at a programme," he pointed out. Ravikumar predicted that the coalition government will crumble on its own.

Ravikumar added that his party is chalking out strategies towards winning minimum of 25 Lok Sabha seats in next year's election.

In the meanwhile, MP Shobha Karandlaje said that Narendra Modi has not been doing anything to destabilize the state government but predicted its downfall on its own. She said she is aware of which words were used against Modi at the Kempe Gowda birth anniversary programme. She felt that Swamijis should stay aloof from politics.
About the reported suggestion to replace Yeddyurappa as state BJP president, she felt that it would be in the interests of the party if Yeddyurappa is retained in that post.

When the wheels of 'Rath Yatra' is broken down and can't fetch the majority vote bank, BJP is all set to start 'Padayatra'.

The PDP-BJP government is coalition in Jammu and Kashmir. When late Mufti was died there was no government for three months even coalition was still existence. Now two more years is remaining BJP after ruining has left the coalition without any government.
In Goa ever since CM Parrikar left for cancer treatment the state is under Coma.

In the last tenure of BJP until 'Operation Kamala' is completed no government. When the government is stated functioning most of the assembly debates where happening in 'resorts'. When assembly is on going their minister are busy with the smartphone watching 'porn'.

When last time Yeddyurappa took 'Padayatra' for farmers he was using Toyota Land cruiser. Hope this 'Padayatra' reduce some weight loss.

I would like to request BJP to carry 'broom' along with them so that can ensure 'Swachh Bharat' of roads where they pass.

BJP should think about the people from whom they have got elected and force the so called Mahakatbandhan to function or to quit. None of the Government offices are functioning properly. JDS is busy consolidating their Political Strength and Congress is busy in fighting for the Ministerial berths. Now Ex CM has ignited Cast War against his own coalition Government. Hence this is the prime opportunity to the BJP to show case the "MAHAKATBHANDHAN" which the opposition Leaders are talking and boasting about.
