Mangaluru, Jul 4: Members of district JD(S) unit, offered special prayers for the successful presentation of budget by chief minister H D Kumaraswamy.

Prayers were offered at Sri Manjunath temple, Kadri, on Wednesday, July 4 in the presence of Mangaluru south Vidhan Sabha constituency president Vasanth Poojary and other leaders in the district.

Former minister K Amarnath Shetty speaking to reporters said, “Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy is concerned about poor farmers in the state. Hence, he will present the budget successfully in that direction.”

Karnataka state JD(S) vice president M B Sadashiva said that the budget will be in favour of all religions and castes. “CM H D Kumaraswamy will present the budget without hurdles as the leader of poor, exploited and downtrodden.”

District president Ram Ganesh, district spokesperson Sushil Noronha, Gopalakrishna Attavar, Pushparajan, Gangadhar Ullal, Diwaker Shetty Thodar,  JD(S) district youth president Akshith Suvarna, Azeez Kudroli, Munir Mukkacheri, Veena Shetty, Madhusoodan Gowda, Shalini, Kavitha, Srinath Rai and other leaders in the district took part in the prayers.
