Mangaluru: Three youth injured after car hits roadside slab at Thokkottu

Mangaluru, Jul 5: Three youth suffered injuries in a road mishap involving a car near Thokkottu under-bridge here on Thursday July 5.

The injured are Vinisha (18), her brother Vinith (21) and driver Joel (21) all three from Ballalbagh.

It is learnt that the youngsters were on the way to Ballalbagh from Maadoor, after attending a Mehendi function. In a bid to avoid hitting a bike, the car driver ended up banging the vehicle to a roadside slab near Thokkottu under- bridge.

    Dear Sir, stop blaming youngsters for every thing. If you seniors had held the concerned authorities in responsible for shoddy work, lack of safety when constructing new roads, delay in the work done most of these incidents wouldn't have happened.

    Dont get the advise of elders wrong, as a driver you know that you are entering a junction, the speed has to be reduced and you are also aware the construction work is in progress in that junction then you must be much more cautious,

    Raising the concern with authorities, if you are having a DL which means you are meatured enough and as a citizen of India you can also raise your concerns with the authorities, the piece of advise was for your safety and life.

    You can avoid hitting other vehicle if you are not over-speeding. Youngsters and went for Some function . for sure had some Madira.

    Give a vehicle to someone under 25, it instantly begins a love-affair with trees, electric poles, and now a slab.

    Of course, the driver may say that he was trying to avoid another vehicle.

    But the public can't ignore the love-affair of a young person's vehicle with various stationary objects by the side of the road.
