Mangaluru Jul 6: The much awaited Kannada movie ‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’ directed by Rajesh Venur under the banner of Icare movies saw the premiere on Friday, July 6. A short programme was held before the show which was inaugurated by Mangalore University vice-chancellor Kishore Kumar at Big Cinemas on Friday July 6.

Addressing the gathering Kishore Kumar said, "The movie Asathoma Sadgamaya produced by Ashwin Pereira has a strong message on education and social values. Today we are more into technology and have forgotten the social values. We should teach our children these social values in our families, as well as through educational institutions. In this modern world, it is very hard for us to spend time with our own children and nowadays it is rare they respect the elders. Through this movie some good message is being spread to society and I wish the team all the best and hope this film achieve high feat.

Executive Producer Nelson, co-producer Melissa, district journalist’s union president Jagannath Shetty Bala, producer Prakash Pandeshwar, Fr Vijay Victor Lobo, Br Victor Crasta, actor Deepak Paladka, Daijiworld media managing director Walter Nandalike, Anil Das, Yogesh Shetty Jeppu, Ismail Moodushedde, Roy Castelino, Yajnesh Karke and others were present.

‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’ has a strong message to the audience. The movie is based upon the IQ Vs EQ concept and how it should be balanced. The trailer of the movie was released at Dubai, which is the first Kannada movie to get its trailer released in Dubai. The songs of the movie have received very good positive response from the people.

The film is a family entertainer, with dash of comedy. The shooting was done in Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Mandya and Moodbidri.

Kiran Raj, Radhika Chethan , Laasya Nagaraj are playing the lead role, while Deepak Shetty,Chitrali are playing prominent role in the movie.

    The title of the movie is quite inspirational with idealism and realism mix-up with social contents. Best Wishes and Good Luck to Producer Ashwin Pereira and to his creative team for his major venture in releasing a value-based movie in the cinema world.

    Dear Ashwin & Team Asathoma Sadhghamaya, I watched your Inaugural Special show today 06 July 2018 at Big Cinemas in Bharath Mall. Here is what I have to Say : Movie is done very well. Theme of the movie is an apt topic for these days where we Children look for greener pastures and leave parents behind. Secondly: How our present day young parents insist on sending their children to big and famous schools with big names which also should have .." so n so International School " .So all the Govt schools are slowly closing down for want of students.I must say our children will study where are they are sent to. Why should it not be a Govt school. Also Money and Muscle & might wins with Political clout. So Officials help indirectly our wealthy people to close down Govt & Kannada Medium schools and a big building with a big English Medium school comes up. Education has become a Business and not a service sector anymore. I recommend parents and children to watch this movie to enlighten our minds to wards Education system and Education style. Great message to carry home. Congratulations to entire team for a wonderful show.

    It's a family oriented class movie for a mass audience. Kiran Raj, Radhika Chetan, Lasya Nagaraj, Deepak Shetty, Baby Chitrali and others have played their role well. Pradeep Barboza and Deepak Paladka have prooved to be good comedians in their limited role. Cinematography, Music and songs are superb. Hats off to Rajesh Venoor, the young, talented, creative and energetic story/screen play writer and the director of the movie. He must have worked for a year or more to make this beautiful movie. Good selection of actors purely on merit. Thanks to Ashwin Pereira and Melissa D'Souza, the producers of the movie. Every family with their kids, specially all school teachers and students should watch this unique movie and make it run successfully for 100 days! Good luck.
