Bengaluru: BJP high command is against Operation Lotus in State

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jul 7: It is said that the national leadership of BJP has sent clear instructions to state leaders against making an effort to form the government in a hurry, as it has forewarned about the possibility of such an effort resulting in loss of face for the party and its leaders.

It is gathered that the high command of the party has cautioned the leaders in Karnataka that there is possibility of legislators from other parties ganging up against BJP and drawing up a plan as per which they may dole out assurances of hopping over to the saffron party and withdrawing the promise at the last minute to embarrass BJP. Therefore, the BJP leaders here have been asked to be very careful not to get caught on the wrong foot.

BJP chief Amit Shah

The leaders have sensed that ruling party leaders might initially act like showing interest in joining the BJP, and then recording the conversations by using modern technology in a bid to make the party face discomfiture. Therefore, they have advised the local leaders to just listen to what the other party leaders have to say and then hold consultations with senior leaders of the party before moving ahead.

The central leaders feel that it would be advisable for their party to stay away from efforts to destabilize the state government and wait for differences between the coalition partners to widen with passage of time so that the government falls apart on its own. "If BJP engineers the fall of the government, its image might get tarnished, which might affect its chances in the Lok Sabha election," the party's think tank is said to have opined.

As various parties have ganged up against BJP and are trying to forge an alliance at the national level, there are chances of them indulging in different tactics to trick BJP leaders, several top leaders of BJP guess.

Really! Mr. Amit Shah why did the RSS inclined Karnataka Governor gave BJP to prove majority more than required days which BJP Karnataka president Yeddyurappa has asked?
What about those Rs 100 offer to the winning candidates from JD(S) and Congress party?

We Kannadigas had already realised the negative effects of 'operation Kamala'. Thought you Amit Shah Congress Mukt Bharat but in reality now BJP is full of Congress and other party members.

It is fact that EVM is manipulated in Karnataka. It is impossible to reverse the intelligence report.
Any way your party has played safe just to get simple majority but somewhere your EVM calculation has failed.

Last time BSY said, we will not play in troubled waters,
And then within 4 days he ordered his party leaders to go to the houses of INC & JDS, MLA'S and try for their defection in favour of BJP.
So much is the frustration for power, will they ever keep quiet?
