I happened to be an invitee for the lovely event that looked like a great effort by almost all the billawa members. However, the icing on the cake was the most powerful speech delivered by the President of the Billawa Mahila Vibhaga, Mrs. Geeta Suvarna which was really stunning. The pocket sized smiling lady made everyone think with their eyes shut about the suffering brethren in India.

She ended her speech in great style that truly singled her out as a fine speaker and leader. Her call to help the needy was timely indeed. The massive participation of all the billawa members was praiseworthy. All the entertainment seemed from the members themselves which showed that there is plenty of talent amongst our people.

The ladies wing tried to impress with their numerous acts but I liked the trio dance by the 3 ladies dressed in black outfits which almost made me think if the 3 dancers were triplets ! An enjoyable day for sure.
